Marco Pizza began as a dream in the heart of Naples, Italy, where our founder Marco Rossi learned the art of pizza-making from his grandfather. In 1985, Marco brought his family recipes and passion for authentic Italian pizza to New York City.
Starting with a small storefront in Little Italy, Marco worked tirelessly to perfect his craft, using only the finest ingredients imported from Italy and developing his signature dough that's still used today.
What began as a neighborhood secret quickly grew into a New York institution, known for our wood-fired pizzas, warm atmosphere, and commitment to traditional methods.
Today, while we've expanded to multiple locations, we remain a family-owned business dedicated to the principles that made us successful: quality, authenticity, and the belief that great food brings people together.
